Heads up! We have scheduled database maintenance coming up on Thursday, October 16, 2025 starting at 9:00 PM Pacific Time (12:00 AM Eastern on October 17).
What to expect:
- Service interruption: Later for Reddit will be unavailable for approximately 30 minutes during the maintenance window
- Post delays: Posts scheduled during the maintenance window will be delayed by up to 30 minutes as we stop and restart the scheduler
- No data loss: This is a routine database migration to improve performance and reliability
- Automatic recovery: The service will automatically come back online once maintenance is complete
